Final Audio Portrait
For this final audio portrait I took out the beginning where my dad says "it was very tough," I also took out the bit where he talks about his wife and kids because, I felt that it was sort of irrelevant to his connection with my grandpa. Hope you enjoy!
Final project
I have totally changed my mind about what I want to do for my project. For my final, I want to do an interview on my grandmother and how she met my grandfather, and their life together up until he died. I want to know special and unforgettable moments they've shared and how my grandmother felt about him. I plan to interview her as soon as possible. I'm also thinking about incorporating music from their time to help make it seem as visual as possible. I haven't seen my grandmother these past couple weeks because she is on vacation in Florida but as soon as she comes back I plan on meeting up with her.

Rough Draft Audio Portrait
I chose to interview my dad about his life and this part really stood out to me.

Nairi's Sonic Haiku
This is my final sonic haiku. In the kitchen of a restaurant when the busboys are cleaning, this is the annoying and obnoxious sound you hear of cleaning pots and dishes. I would know because I work as a waitress at two different restaurants during the weekend, and whenever I go in the back this is all I hear.

Final On The Road
My final On The Road piece is pretty much the same. I decided not to change it because the more I listened to it the more I liked it. Also I chose not to add sound effects to the piece because I feel as though it takes away the intensity and imaginary aspect of the piece.

Sareen's story
It was really hard for me to get my sister to tell me a story so, while we were on facebook looking at out fiends pictures, we started commenting on them so I just decided to pull out my recorder and tape what we were saying.
On The Road
This is my first draft of the On The Road piece. This is a piece about when I was a little girl at the mall with my mother. It is also one of the most vivid and scariest moments of my life as a child.
Talar's story
When I got home from school, my little sister began telling me about her day at school, so I asked her if I could record her. Surprisingly it came out a lot easier for her than I thought.

Random sounds
This piece is just a bunch of random sounds I recorded in the computer room inside the Duderstate.
